What is…..
What is a workshop, class and Stamp-a-stack?
A workshop is an activity that is based around exploring Stampin’ Up!® products and the aim is to invite friends (usually to your house where you are the hostess and may receive free products) that are interested in the product or would like to try stamping. A demonstrator (like me) gets your guests to make two projects they get to take home. The demonstrator then will proceed in explaining a little about the products and give a tour of the catalogue. Then those who are interested in ordering may then do so and their sales go towards great hostess benefits that include free products. There is no charge for anyone to attend a workshop and all materials are supplied. Obviously the higher the sales the more freebies you (the hostess)are entitled to……..With each ‘workshop’ booking the hostess is entitled to a free catalogue.
A class is to learn something new, whether it be a technique or a new design feature. Classes are held in the demonstrators home and are at a cost which varies depending on the project. All materials are provided and you will make the projects that have been arranged. On my blog, if you click on Classes it will link you to the current classes I am running.
A Stamp-a-stack is designed to produce a bulk lot of cards that you could place a stash for future use. You would make multiple amunts of one or two designs, again these are generally held in the demonstrators home and are at a cost which varies depending on the projects, all materials are provided. If you have a few friends interested in one of these, you can suggest a theme then contact me and we can arrange a time, they are especially popular at Christmas time.
