08/10/2009 at 12:05 pm | In Cards and 3D ideas | Leave a CommentFirstly, thank you Vicki for having me and creating with your daughter Laura and her friends. They seemed to of had a great time creating there own journal and make it unique. Below is what my daughter made, I used her as a guinea pig to make sure it was age appropriate (what I forgot to take into account was that she is exposed to all my materials). They all still achieved a great journal with a little assistance, they got to go free on there gift bag.

Recipe:
Stamps: Priceless, Short order Alphabet
Ink: Bold Brights
Card: Bold Brights
Other: Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Punches: 1″ Circle, 1 1/4″ circle, Scallop cirlce, Round tab. Pen, journal and paper bag are not Stampin’ Up products.

My weekend…
22/09/2009 at 8:23 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentHi all, what a weekend! they just seem to fly. Took the kids to the movies on Saturday with friends to see ‘Up’ the kids had a great time together and us adults also had a great time drinking coffee and eating cake at Maccas afterwards. Sunday was a great day for gardening, so we got into it and had our machine man who lives up the road over to help us fill in a big hole. It was a pond that was here when we bought the house and we tried to fix it up by putting in Koi fish but the birds just ate them and then the pond turned into a big pit of algae and mozies and a huge troupe of frogs. So here is a picture of before the machine started and then when he finished. There are many sad ducks not having a pond anymore, I am sorry….

Getting nowhere fast…
16/09/2009 at 3:02 pm | In Scrapbooking pages | Leave a CommentHow is your week, we are at hump day and boy am I feeling it. This album is staring at me and doesn’t seem to be growing, I have done another two pages and hope to complete two more tonight. Went to the movies last night (I know; I should of stayed at home and done more of the album) but it was the last showing of ‘My Sisters Keeper’. It was a sad movie but a nice one, the friends I went with had read the book and they said it didn’t end the same and thank goodness for that; I would of been a mess if I ended as to the book. Our school fete is getting closer, we made about 50 Christmas cards last Friday night; we were on a roll (sorry, didn’t take a photo. When I make up some more I will show you). Well have a good rest of the week:)
