Once again very, very simple. As you can see the kits have retired paper but work well with the stamp set. These are the last lot of cards I made, I have a great stash to use throughout the year now. Last day of school holidays for Jared, off to his new school, think I am more nervous than he is. Britney has one extra day, so we will do something special together once we drop off Jared. Having her with me will make me not cry….hopefully.

These cards were so easy and they have turned out pretty…. just the result you want when creating. Each card has the exact same layout however with the different colours they look very different.

Just the perfect set, once again very versatile. I have never been in a hot air ballon but I just love them. Except when they come over the house very early Sunday morning sending my dogs crazy.

Hello there, it has been a while since I have posted. Christmas has come and gone and so to has January, hope you had a lovely break. Our family went away for a week in the middle of January and we were very lucky we had fantastic weather and the water was absolutely beautiful. I am in the mist of cleaning out my kids rooms and study (with there help of course) getting ready for the new school year. Both of my children are off to new schools, one is going in yr4 and the other into yr7, where does the time go? Soccer season is about to start so alot of my time at the moment and until the mid of Feb is with registrations, hopefully after that all my time will not be consumed with the soccer club.

I did get to create earlier in the year before we went away, it was most enjoyable creating and watching the cricket (Jared loved that I was sitting in the one spot). So over the next few days I will post up some of my creations, they were made from various kits I already had cut up from people who book into a class than cancel on the night. I have been collecting them over many years so I had a little bundle. I used current stamp sets and worked with the pieces I had but created something totally different from what they were cut up for.

First lot is using the Summer Splash stamp set out of the summer mini catalogue.

My Christmas card 2011

It may seem as though I don’t make my own Christmas cards however I do, it’s a team effort. Britney since winning the Mayors xmas card comp’ last year is now the family Christmas card artwork designer. This is what she did this year, we scanned and printed onto photo quality paper and mounted onto black cardstock.

Happy New Year, hope you all had a great Christmas and enjoyed the break. We haven’t gone away this Christmas so I am catching up on my blogging. I thought I would firstly share the cards that I received for Christmas that were handmade.

Teachers Gifts

Each year the kids give there class teacher, the librarian and HSIE teacher a gift, we had 3 female and 1 male gift idea to come up with. So what I did was go to a place we have in town called ‘Home Quaters’ and got 4 nice boxes and made up the boxes with various handmade gifts. The female boxes consisted of ‘Year of cards’ book, coasters, post-it-notes and various cards. The male box I made up my own box to put chocolates in, calendar, bookmark and a personalised note book. I didn’t get to see the teachers however the kids said they liked there gifts.

Well, I haven’t disappeared I am still well and kicking. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to create lately as much as I would like. David and I have taken on positions at our local soccer club which has consumed alot of our time and also our eldest daughter is leaving year 6 off to the big world of high school so that also took up a bit of my time helping organise the farewell dinner and really just all the other bits in life we get consumed with. I am sure you are all just as busy this time of year. I have below a few projects that I did do over the last couple of months to share with you.
