Happy Mother’s Day

18 May

Hope you all had a lovely Mother’s day even with it being super cold and windy. At stamp club we made a couple of cards and a little gift. My thanks go out to my fellow demonstrator Tifa for the beautiful idea of the screen card and little chocolate gift made with the scrap from the screen card. Enjoy your creating xx

Beautiful Butterflies

8 Mar

As you can see from my previous post we used the beautiful butterflies Bigz Die in my last class, so when I gave my lovely stamp club there orders I put in there a nice little surprise. I made a magnet using the ‘On Board sheets’ (p. 155), my fav’ paper from the Sale-a-bration catty and the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die (p.159). They were so easy to make, very useful (mine is on our fridge holding many school notes) and the best thing of all is they make great gifts.

Decorated note book

19 Feb

The sample of the Fresh Vintage Stamp set in the sale-a-bration catalogue is just beautiful and I had to make it, well my own version. As it is so nice I wanted to share it with my Stamp Club and it just so happens when I went to Officeworks shopping for High School supplies I found the most beautiful note books at a great price of $2 so I bought a stack not having any plan for them at the time however they came in very handy.

The patterned paper, ribbon, brad and stamp set are all out of the Sale-a-bration catalogue to view the cataglogue click here it is very nice.

My favourite big shot die, if you hadn’t noticed is ‘Beautiful Butterflies’. For the first time I used the on board sheets, which is hard to tell in the photo but it is the smaller of the butterflies. They went through the big shot very easily and then I just stuck on the embossed card stock. Very simple once again but beautiful at the same time.

Emboss Resist

18 Feb

Technique class at Stamp club this month was ‘Emboss Resist’, a technique I had never played with before and I love it. Holding a technique class makes me learn so many things, so it benefits all. It is a very simple technique, when the ladies looked at it they thought they were in for a night of hard work, how wrong they were. Simple but effective is the key for success but it doesn’t always happen, this time it was a winner. The stamp set and brads used are from the Sale-a-bration catalogue it’s called Fresh Vintage.

Share a cup

20 Aug

At our once a month Friday night Stamp club we ‘Share a cup’ of tea. We have a great night creating and chatting. I made this card for my stamp-stash girls to say thank you for there commitment over the last 12 months and gave them a gift bundle (a new catalogue with a wish list and book mark) of course and I couldn’t help myself I had to also give them the ‘share a cup’ stamp set ;-)

Coaster class

1 Jul

Last Friday night I had stamp club with nine lovely ladies and they had the joy of making coasters. In our Stampin’ Up newsletter last month on the front cover were coaster made using the Big Shot, I was very impressed with them and wanted to share my excitement. Unfortunately at the moment Stampin Up don’t sell cork sheets however I found some and bought all the shop had at the time so that I could run a class as I really wanted to share how easy it is to create such a simple but beautiful gift (one you can give away or make for yourself). The Pear Pizzaz ones below I made for my mum and the Greenhouse gala DSP ones I made for my home.

As everyones taste is different it was nice to see the variety (yes, I know I should have taken a photo. Thought about it then forgot about it just as quick). Each person got to make four each and I also showed them how quick and easy it was to make butterfly magnets with the scraps using the ‘Beautiful Butterflies’ Bigz dies. Sorry will add another post with the magnets.

Products used and order collated from bottom to top: Cork sheets, multipurporse adhesive sheets, Designer series paper, multipurpose adhesive sheets, window sheets and the Scallop circle die through the big shot.

Mothers Day Stamp Club

5 Apr

These are the two cards that we are making at Stamp club this month. The ladies love coming to class and making there mums a card. The two cards are quite different in style however the colours are similar.

Faux tiling

3 Apr

Hi there, so sorry for my lack of posting of late however I have been busy creating but just haven’t been sharing, I have also made some birthday invitations for a customer (will post later). Well most of my creating I am not sharing as it will all be revealed at our Craft retreat (still places available).

At last months stamp club we created two cards using the faux tiling technique. We made one with the tiles nice and glossy and the other a stamped card with the cardstock cut into tile shapes.

February Stamp Club

19 Feb

Hello there, it seems like ages ago I posted what I have been creating. This month at the two stamp clubs they didn’t make exactly the same as one class was before Valentines Day and another was after. Not a lot of stamping was done but it shows how creative you can be with cardstock and punches.

The reason I have not made alot of posts of late is because Sharon and I are preparing for our ‘Craft Getaway’ and it is all a surprise, if you have not booked in I think you will regret not joining us as we have so much planned it will be a blast. If you would like further details click here for a link to the information flyer.
