Strength and Hope Stamp-a-stack

17 Aug

Last month’s stamp class was a stamp-a-stack, we made 8 cards using the Strength and Hope stamp set. I can not take credit for the design though, I often get my inspiration from another demonstrator, Marelle Taylor her work is beautiful and find that I can always rely on her for inspriation (don’t know Marelle personally but visit her blog always).

The name of this stamp set is so relevant to the reason behind the set and for using last month, it is for the support of Cancer and every set sold $2 goes towards Cancer research. At the moment my mum’s partner has lung cancer and is going through a course of treatment, it is too servere to be operated on, chemo etc is only the way they are trying to stop it growing. He needs all the ‘Strength and Hope’ at the moment.

Birthday Stamp-a-stack

27 Sep

Ok, all done….stayed up last night until I had designed, cut and packed. I am really loving the colours, they work so well together. I have used the ‘Celebrations’ Designer series paper along with its card stock of matching colours: Pacific Point, Pear Pizzazz, Bashful Blue and Real Red and matching ribbons of Real Red Taffeta ribbon and Pear Pizzazz Stitched-Poly ribbon. The one and only stamp set used is ‘Party Hearty’. As it is a stamp-a-stack and each person makes 10 cards, they are very simple however they look fantastic, if I do say so myself…lol. CLASS FULL, if you would like to buy a kit and make at home please contact me and I will organise for one to be sent out to you at a cost of $25 including postage.
