Strength and Hope Stamp-a-stack

17 Aug

Last month’s stamp class was a stamp-a-stack, we made 8 cards using the Strength and Hope stamp set. I can not take credit for the design though, I often get my inspiration from another demonstrator, Marelle Taylor her work is beautiful and find that I can always rely on her for inspriation (don’t know Marelle personally but visit her blog always).

The name of this stamp set is so relevant to the reason behind the set and for using last month, it is for the support of Cancer and every set sold $2 goes towards Cancer research. At the moment my mum’s partner has lung cancer and is going through a course of treatment, it is too servere to be operated on, chemo etc is only the way they are trying to stop it growing. He needs all the ‘Strength and Hope’ at the moment.

Queensland Flood Appeal

15 Jan

As flood waters continue to inundate Australia in what has been described as the worst flooding in 37 years, we express our deepest sympathies to those who have lost loved ones and homes and to those whose lives have been changed forever. We, like so many of you, feel a compelling need to lend support to all those who have been affected.

Stampin’ Up! demonstrators have a long history of making a difference in the lives of others–especially when disaster strikes and the need is greatest. Nearly two years ago, we watched another tragedy unfold in Australia. Our hearts were touched as demonstrators, customers and friends joined together in support of the Bushfire Appeal. We’ve done it before and we can certainly do it again!

Please join with us by supporting the Australia Flood Appeal–a cause in which Stampin’ Up! will donate $2 AUD of the retail value of sales from any stamp set (with a retail value of $30 or more) sold in Australia and New Zealand from 15 January through 15 February to the State Emergency Services in Queensland.

If you wish to help by purchasing a stamp set please email me lana@harveysautotraders.com.au

Only 3 days left….

25 Feb

There are just a few days left to participate in Stampin′ Up!’s Haitian relief efforts! Until 28 February, 2010, Stampin′ Up! is setting aside $2 from the sale of select stamp sets to be donated to the Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. So far, demonstrators around the world have sold 11,895 sets, which equates to over $20,000 to be donated to this fund–but don’t stop now! You still have a few days left to participate in this effort in making a difference in lives of those who continue to suffer in Haiti.

Haitian Disaster Relief

22 Jan

In the past, when terrorists attacked the Twin Towers, when a tsunami struck Indonesia, when a hurricane destroyed New Orleans, and when wildfires ravaged Australia, Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators have stepped forward and showed their commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. This time is no different.

Help make a difference in lives of those who continue to suffer from the effects of the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti on 12 January. From now until 28 February 2010 Stampin’ Up!® will set aside $2 from the sale of every I{Heart} Hearts stamp set and donate it to the Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross is already well established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.

In order to sell as many of these sets as possible and hopefully raise lots of money I will be removing my demonstrator discount. That brings the stamp set including postage to $41.09.

So email me today to place your order for this lovely stamp set while helping out this worthy cause.
