13th Birthday Party…
31/10/2009 at 8:31 pm | In Cards and 3D ideas | Leave a CommentI spent the afternoon crafting with thirteen lovely, 13year olds. Abby had a Stampin Up birthday party where they made the two things in the photo below. They had a great time and were very proud of what they made. I was surprised to hear how many times they said “this is cool”. They all made each journal with there own personality shining through. They didn’t just copy exactly what I had made, there were some very artistic girls there.
Thanks girls for a great afternoon….’Happy Birthday Abby’

Christmas Cards
19/10/2009 at 1:23 pm | In Cards and 3D ideas, Scrapbooking pages | Leave a CommentOn the weekend I thought I would get started on my Christmas cards only that I forgot what I had planned. I had bought the cardstock and ribbon and that was about it. So I was shown this by Sharon a while ago so I have just run with this for the time being. I make between 80-100 for my husbands clients and then I make up different ones for our friends and family (when I come up with that one I will let you know).
Anyone interested in completing HEAPS of Christmas cards in one night??? You free on Dec 4?? If you answered YES to both questions…..pop me an e-mail and get a sneak peak at a class that is in ‘the works’ ATM but will be revealed shortly………..

Birthday present….
08/10/2009 at 12:16 pm | In Cards and 3D ideas | Leave a CommentWell, as I have been so consumed with making my friends album I had totally forgot to make the girl next door a birthday present. So before doing anything else I made these gifts. Not sure what colours she liked so I let Britney choose. This just shows how versatile you can be with papercraft products and I just love using Stampin’ Up as everything co-oridinates, which makes creating that little bit easier. The little calendars are available from educational experience (just google ‘em, they sell online or over the phone) and they come in books of 25 calendars for about $7.50. The post it note cover can be made from any size, by just measuring up the post it note that you are using. If you would like the dimensions I used for the calendar, just email me and I will send them to you…..A great gift which was whipped up this morning….I am now going to have lunch and get back into it. Thanks for visiting and have a good day:)

They seemed to of had a great time creating there own journal and make it unique. Below is what my daughter made, I used her as a guinea pig to make sure it was age appropriate (what I forgot to take into account was that she is exposed to all my materials). They all still achieved a great journal with a little assistance, they got to go free on there gift bag.

Summer Love Rub ons
05/09/2009 at 10:49 pm | In Cards and 3D ideas | Leave a CommentI have had a very busy week this week with the kids and creating. My kids caught the school bus the first time on Wednesday; not to my request (I look at it as controlled freedom); they loved it and I get an extra hour of an afternoon to get more done. My daughters dance studio is having a Trivia Night to raise money, so they need prize donations and of course no matter how busy I am I just can’t bring myself to buying anything. I have made a box frame using the ‘Summer Love Rub ons’ as I really enjoy making 3D projects. I plan to make some post it note holders with a covered pen and Christmas card packs; they are on my very long list. Still busy making fete items as well; nothing to show you for that at the moment as I spent Friday night making up a heap of the Christmas gift card holders which you have already seen. Will be back tomorrow or Monday to show you a couple of Journal books I have decorated. I am meant to be making an album for a friends 50th Birthday; but its for a male and I just can’t seem to get into it and it needs to be finished for the 10th October…..just so much to do….

All materials Stampin Up! (except box frame and rhinestones)
Stamps: Great friend (for the butterfly image only)
Ink: Cameo Carol (for the butterfly image only)
Card: Urban Garden DSP and whisper white
Other: Summer love rub ons, Crystal effects on the butterfly, Stampin’ dimensionals and adhesive
Good night to all and “Happy Father’s Day to all the dads”
Gift Certificate
28/08/2009 at 11:57 am | In Cards and 3D ideas | Leave a CommentWe are having a school fete at my childrens school and a few parents have walked the streets of Camden asking for donations (hard job is you ask me, didn’t put my hand up for that one). There have been quite a lot of generous businesses. The gift certificate which is below is one I was asked to make up as the business was new and didn’t have any. I really like how well it turned out, very similar colours and flowers as to her business card, which is all I had to work with…

Materials: all Stampin’ Up!
Stamps: Petal Pizzazz
Ink: Pixie Pink, Green Galore
Card: Pixie Pink, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White
Other: Green Galore marker, crystal effects, stamped petals are from a retired stamp set.
The printing of words was done on my laser printer.
