Share a cup

20 Aug

At our once a month Friday night Stamp club we ‘Share a cup’ of tea. We have a great night creating and chatting. I made this card for my stamp-stash girls to say thank you for there commitment over the last 12 months and gave them a gift bundle (a new catalogue with a wish list and book mark) of course and I couldn’t help myself I had to also give them the ‘share a cup’ stamp set ;-)

Girls night out….crafting!

13 May

Hello there, sorry for my absence however I have been working very hard on our ‘Craft Getaway’. I am taking time out tonight as I have a class and we are making two projects with punches and lots of other great products including the ‘Big Shot’. The girls just love the owl punch and due to popular demand we are using it again but I didn’t want to make a card I thought I would put it to use in another way. We are making a bookmark and it is just the cutest bookmark if I do say so myself.

The other project we are doing is a pocket card with an insert, these are great for using as a card or for attaching a gift card to the insert. Love these colours and of course the cute cupcake punch.

I unfortunately can’t take the credit for coming up with the pocket card concept, I got the idea from a very clever lady Andrea Walford, she make the most gorgeous pieces of art work.

Well I better go and get sorted and orgainsed. We are having yummy scones for supper tonight as it is so damn cold here. Couldn’t think of a better way of spending my evening: creating with the girls, with the gas heater on with jam and cream scones….what a life :-)

Cutest Easter bunnies

8 Apr

I just love making cute things and these are just the cutest Easter gifts. The kids took some for there teachers today however, this photo is what I am left with, think I may have made to many…lol. They are made using punches and the big shot ‘top note’, no stamping required and the bags are the small flat found on page 122 of the Stampin Up! catalogue. I am in the process of making a bunch of chocolate flowers using the ‘Flower folds’ die, will post once I have finished (that is if they turn out). Well enjoy the day of peace and quiet before the kids start school holidays.

These are the two cards that we are making at Stamp club this month. The ladies love coming to class and making there mums a card. The two cards are quite different in style however the colours are similar.
