After I made the album I thought I should put it into something so it wouldn’t get ruined. When I am in doubt as to what to do I email my great friend Sharon who always has the best ideas. Sharon suggested I make a box out of 12″x12″ cardstock and use a clear lid, so that is what I did.

To make the box I actually got the cardboard that comes with the Stampin’ Up! designer series paper and scored where necessary. I then covered it with retired Stampin’ Up! DSP on the back and used Basic Black cardstock which I used the So Swirly wheel using the White ink.

To hold the box together I used Stampin’ Up! Jumbo Eyelets

This is the DSP I used for the back of the box.

This picture is a close up of the inside of the box with the album inside. As you can see the clear lid gives it a great effect.

Instead of wrapping up the gift in wrapping paper I used a white gift bag and used the So Swirly wheel and used the dauber and sponges using the Rose Red ink. I used the Jumbo eyelets again at the top of the bag to thread through the ribbon to hold the bag closed. I stamped her name with Rose Red ink using the Big Deal Alphabet.
