Another Journal

My daughter saw the decorated journal I made and wanted one, so on Monday night I decorated one for her, I gave it to her on Tuesday afternoon and she loved it. I just hope she looks after it…..

Journal decorating…

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! It was nice inside weather to get all that craft done you have been wanting to do. My long weekend was fine, I got to see ‘Sex and the City’ movie on Friday night and I loved it, I was laughing and crying, it is a must see even if you didn’t watch the series. Jared went to the football on Saturday night for the first time and he had a great time (I wasn’t sure whether he would like it as it can be very loud) and Britney had a friend over on Saturday afternoon and for dinner they got to make there own pizzas, they both had a great time.

I called into Officeworks on my way home today and picked up these note books/journals for $1.00 (what a bargain) I spent this afternoon covering them and have one decorated. They make great gifts and don’t cost alot. I have used all Stampin’ Up! products, the front cover is covered in Groovy Guava cardstock, a variety of ribbons, soft subtles cardstock, ‘Petal prints’ and ‘Garden Whimsy’ stamp set and a brad. I will post more photos when I finish the others. Have a good week…. Cheers Lana xo

I’ve been tagged!….

A friend of mine, Sharon (http://sharondavis.wordpress.com/) has tagged me. The rules are:

1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog .

Okay, my 7 facts…..this is harder than I thought, I have never sat down and just thought about myself……

1. I am an only child (which makes me a bit of a control freak…LOL!!)

2. My parents divorced when I was five due to my father being an abusive alcoholic, he passed away when I was pregnant with my second child (6 years ago) and I grew up having nothing to do with him. He was an alcoholic to the day he died…..

3. I am very happily married to David and have two children Britney who is 8yrs old and Jared 5yrs, nearly six, he is counting down), they are both very confident and resiliant children.

4. I love my two dogs, Casper – he is a Labradoodle and is the size of a miniture pony but has the most gorgeous personality and Rusty – he is a Cavoodle, he is a little terror the one who gets into mischief all the time.

5. I failed High School due to hanging around the wrong crowd….I have many regrets there…..so now my poor children are nagged alot about making sure they are doing well at school. The world is your oyster when you have a good education.

6. I voluntery run my childrens school canteen, I enjoy the challenge and find it rewarding.

7. I am a hardworking person, loyal, very matter of fact (its either black or white), I don’t take fools gladly, quite reserved (not as outgoing as I would like to be), enjoy spending time with friends.

Well, there are my 7 facts….interesting….well probably not…..factual, yes!…..

Now for those I have tagged…..I don’t even know some of these ladies, but I know a little bit about them by visiting there blogs regularly….
